Hampstead Royals - Premier Cru Edition (White)
£29.00
"If I won the Euromillions I'd live in Hampstead" the King once famously said over a pint in The Holly Bush. As it stands he'll have to settle for Westminster - the closest he's ever got is 4 numbers and a bonus ball.
One royal lucky enough to reside in Hampstead was King Derek III, who purchased half of Hampstead when a 6-fold accumulator came good for him on ladies' day at Royal Ascot.
A keen fan of contact sports, when Derek heard of the success that the Highgate Bears were having he decided to set up a rival team on the other side of the heath. A 100,000 seater stadium was built in the grounds of Kenwood House and players drafted in from Ivy League universities. However, success wasn't so easy to buy and it wasn't until 1972 that the Royals won their first Conference title.
The design is purple, screen printed onto the finest quality American Apparel tee (white). This limited edition version features our Premier Cru label. See the FAQ section for tips on product care.
