GARMENT SIZES & CARE

Which size garment should I order?

We provide guidance (in inches) in the drop down size menu. Please note that some of our garments are a slimmer cut and softer fabric than a standard athletic tee. If you have any questions about fit please get in touch via the Contact page.


Will my garment shrink?

Most garments we sell aren't pre-washed or pre-shrunk (we specify in the product description if they are). As such some shrinkage to 100% cotton items is to be expected. Following the washing instructions on the care tag will minimise this.


I ordered two garments of the same size but one is smaller. Why is this?

Some of the designs are printed on different style garments. The product description and drop down size menu will detail any special fitting attributes (e.g. slim fit).


How should I care for my shirts?

The best way to care for your garments is to machine wash inside out on cold. Most garments have a high percentage of cotton, so they will tend to shrink a little after being washed and dried. For the least shrinkage, dry on low or hang dry. Ironing, followed by hanging up to store, will help you keep the garment’s shape for longer. Do not iron the printed design.


What type of printing process is used on your apparel? Will the printing fade?

All of our garments are screen printed. Some are printed plastisol, which applies a rubber like coating on top of the fabric. This is durable and shouldn’t fade even with many washes. Some garments are discharge printed which leaves a lovely soft print, with the colour impregnating the fabric. With discharge printing, natural cracking may appear in printed design before first wash, after which it will intentionally fade to give an authentic vintage look & feel. These garments must be washed before wearing, and a notice on the hang tag will advise you of this. The product pages also specify the print type.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our store uses Paypal, which allows you to use all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.


Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?

No, you can easily make a payment without an account, and you don't need to sign up.


How secure is the online store?

PayPal encrypts your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. It’s probably easier to break into Fort Knox armed with only a spoon and some marbles.


Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

We attempt to turn around your order as quickly as possible, which may make post checkout adjustments tricky to fulfil. If you have a change, please get in touch via the Contact page, and we’ll see if we can help. If your order has already shipped, we’ll provide you with instructions on how to return it.

What shipping method do you use?

We use Royal Mail.


How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within the UK is free!


How fast will I receive my order?

We aim to ship orders within 3 days of purchase, but please allow up to 15 working days for delivery.


Do you ship internationally?

At the moment we are just shipping to the UK. If you are based outside the UK please contact us and we’ll see what we can do. Note that any orders shipped outside of the UK may be subject to customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.


What is your return policy?

We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. You may return or exchange unworn and unwashed items within 15 days of the date of purchase. If you need to return an order, simply contact us via the Contact page and request an item return form. Please include a copy of the packing slip that was sent with your original purchase alongside any returned items.  Exchanges must be for items of equal or lesser value. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defective item or shipping error by us. If a product is defective, it may be exchanged for a new product which will be shipped to you at no additional charge.
